MARCEL WANDERS... this guy is truly one of my favourite designers in design. I look up too this guy.... definitely get my inspiration for projects from his pieces. I wish to be a designer in the near future and hopefully as great as Marcel. I plan to go to Europe in the new year, to start networking and establish my company and who i am ...

My next art piece... my concept is Antlers... and paper.....

One of my favourite pieces that i thought i might expose, i had this project to do and it was to create a portfolio. I decided to create the box and put it together myself, and add a touch of who i am to it. Took me forever to glue on the shredded paper one by one!

- Shredded Magazines

So here the deal, iv'e worked so hard on this assignment and i think it came out pretty solid.
My task was to create a "pillow" in workshop... so i decided i wanted to create something that wasnt just a pillow you find at Pottery Bar, something that was " different". I thought out this concept of a vintage high top sneaker. The only thing was that it had to be made out of recycled products. Well then! here's my shoe that i hand sewn, took 2 days to do it! ( might i add.. i always put things to the last minute! but im stopping that habit!)

- Bicycle inner tube

- Old Socks for stuffing

- Magazine Shreds

I think its fun, creative, definitely something that a shoe designer would like to have as an accent to place on his couch... or his dog's chew toy?

1ST TERM.

Well... last week thursday i crawled out of my hole that ive been in for the last couple of months. Being Anti-Social...having heaps of papers/markers/paint/canvas all over my house. Finished 1st term of Design with a 4.0 GPA... loss of words... because this time last year.. i was failing some classes. Anyway, im glad to have my life back... but im still working on some art pieces which i would like done by the end of the year ( 2 weeks!)

Here are some projects that ive done in 1st term.

Even though the first semester is just "cut and paste" projects... its seriously a lot of work. Especially with me.... i'm the most pickiest person, if something doesnt look right it has to be fixed right there... and im not the simplest person....i always think out of the box.

Finally.

Even though im in mid-terms right now.. over my head with assignments, i managed to set this up. I was meaning to do this for the longest time, but never got around to do so.
